Using our patented (MP)² technology, Venus Legacy™ combines Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields, which produce uniform heat under the skin’s surface. Venus Legacy is a device used to treat wrinkles, rhytides, tighten skin, and reduce cellulite and circumferential fat. Using (MP) 3 technology, this device delivers multi-polar radio frequency and magnetic pulsed fields to the skin to produce a dense and uniform heat matrix. This causes collagen synthesis and contraction, fibroblast proliferation, neo-vascularity and lipolysis.

Q. HOW DOES THE VENUS LEGACY TECHNOLOGY WORK?

Venus (MP) 3 works by incorporating Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Magnetic Pulsed Fields into one device and delivering it safely and effectively to the patient. Skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and cellulite reduction occur because the multi-polar radio frequency causes a thermal response in the tissue which activates the body`s natural healing response. That healing response causes new collagen to form, new elastin fibers and the production of fibroblasts to increase. The existing collagen in the skin contracts (this causes the skin to look and feel firmer) and the elastin fibers unravel (which makes the skin more elastic). The new VariPulse™ is an adjustable pulsed suction feature designed to deliver the combined energies more uniformly with rapid homogenous heating to stimulate lymphatic drainage and enhance patient comfort throughout the treatment.

Q. ARE THE RESULTS REAL?

Very real. We only use before and after photos of real clients with typical results.What areas of the body can be treated? The face, neck, around the eyes, lips and entire body can be treated with the Venus Legacy.

Q. IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME?

There is a very small, but possible chance of a burn to the skin if the machine head stops in a skin area for too long or if the treatment area becomes too hot. You will be slightly red from the treatment for several hours. Treatments require no patient downtime and you can return to work or other normal activities immediately and apply makeup as desired.

Q. HOW SUCCESSFUL ARE THE TREATMENTS?

You will see results right after the first treatment and most clients will see a more dramatic result in as little as three treatments however, we advise a full series of six treatments for the face and eight to ten treatments on the body.

Q. HOW DOES BODY CONTOURING WORK?

Body contouring is achieved when the temperature of the skin is elevated, the body releases stress hormones. These hormones pass through the blood stream, and attach themselves to specific receptors on the membrane of the fat cell in the hypodermis (the deepest layer of the skin). The stress hormone, once attached to the receptor, activates the hormone sensitive lipase – the hormone that is in charge of breaking down triglycerides into free fatty acids. The free fatty acids exit the fat cell through the blood stream and the volume of the fat cell is thus reduced giving you a smoother, more contoured shape.

Q. WHAT IS IT LIKE TO HAVE A TREATMENT?

As you lay comfortably on a treatment bed, the technician will apply a treatment gel to the skin. This lotion helps the applicator glide on the surface of your skin. The correct size applicator is selected and the treatment provider will then begin to apply smooth and consistent movements on the surface of the skin. This feels like a wonderful warm massage. We encourage our patients to close their eyes and take this time to just relax and enjoy the quiet and focused time for them.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE?

You may have some temporary redness in the area, which usually resolves within an hour. You will want to be active after the procedure as the triglycerides are being released, as to not have them reabsorb back into the fat cell. You donʼt necessarily need to exercise, as even mild movement will do, long as you just donʼt go to sleep right away.
