MRF
We were the first to introduce this system in the market for reducing acne scars – Dual Fractional Radio Frequency (RF). It is also effective for skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, fine-lines, treatment of other scars & large pores. The system has two probes; one for treating the Middle & Deep Dermis and the other for the Epidermis & Superficial Dermis. The system works by stimulating the body’s supply of collagen – the protein that makes up 80% of the skin. It works by delivering a type of radio frequency (RF) energy to heat and tighten underlying tissues and increase collagen production, which in turns smooth’s the surface of the skin.
This treatment is especially effective because it can reach the Middle & Deep Dermis with the RF Micro-needle Hand Piece – delivering RF directly to the target area.

Fractional Radiofrequency Micro-needling causes selective heating in the deep dermis at the point of insertion of the micro-needles avoiding damage (burning or pigmentation) of the upper skin layer(epidermis). This creates shortening and tightening of the collagen fibres, and stimulation of new collagen.
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated to make the procedure more comfortable. The Doctor will then apply the device to the skin surface releasing the needles and delivering radiofrequency energy in short bursts as the tip is moved across the area to be treated. Immediately after treatment the treated area will appear red and slightly inflamed. If uncomfortable, a cool pack, or cold air can be applied to the area.
MRF is specifically indicated to improve acne scarring. It is also used to tighten and lift skin, to treat wrinkles, large pores, stretch marks and in facial rejuvenation.
Aftercare plays an important role in reducing the recovery time (instructions will be given)Keep the area clean following the initial treatment session And Use sunscreen.
The interval between MRF treatments is 3-5 weeks. However the interval level is flexible and depends on the treatment levels.
Immediately after treatment there may be some pinpoint bleeding and sometimes swelling . Both are quickly resolved with cooling packs which minimize inflammation. Small scab marks may persist for a few days, which will fall off and some patients experience dryness of the skin for a short time.
